Katy Perry Plays Weather Girl for Australian News Show

Great American actor and singer Katy Perry is searching some hard goof-around time on her trip to Australia, invading the seven Sunrise news transmit in Sydney on Wednesday morning (Mar. 5) to deliver a very funny, mispronunciation-laden weather statement. John Travolta would be proud. Standing next to hosts Sam Armytage & David Koch, Katy Perry takes her "natty wand that all weather the media utilize" and start calling cities like Cairns & Canberra "Carns" & "Coona-berra." The highlight: referring to Hobart as "Hogwarts"!

Later in the program, Katy Perry was allegedly asked if she has a boyfriend, following news last month that she & John Mayer had permanently split. The super star's reply: "My devotees are my boyfriend." After Katy Perry kicks off her PRISMATIC globe tour in the U.K. in May, the vocalist will head back to Australia in November for one more abroad leg of the trek.
